The Mississippi is wide and deceptively slow moving here
Of course there are lots of Mark Twain sites to look at
including the Law office of Clemons' father
Sam's father must have worked a lot of Pro Bono cases
At least from the looks of Samuel Clemons boyhood home
Someone beat us to white washing the fence but we were in time to see a band setting up
for an in the square concert
Cute little downtown store fronts
We tried a bar & grill on the south side
That was wasted money and the beer was NOT cold
Enjoyed looking through some of the shops

Like many areas in the Midwest this year
Rain has been hard to come by so
the lake is very low
